Dayton Mercy Society was pleased to be a part of the planning and intervention strategies to bring about meaningful change to our communities.  The following day she served as a co-panelist at our interfaith conference on October 29 at the University of Dayton – River Campus.

“Faith, Awareness and Action….Addressing Human Trafficking
and Domestic Violence” …An Interfaith Conference

The purpose of this conference was to equip people of faith with information about human trafficking
& domestic violence and how they can respond in order to save lives.

WORKSHOPS:

How to Involve Men – Involving men is key to addressing human trafficking and behaviors.

Tools for Equipping Religious Leaders – Religious leaders play an important role in the prevention of ands on resources that can be applied in local congregations by faith leaders who want to make a difference on these two topics.

Impact on Children – Attendees will learn how faith communities can respond and youth, as well as how faith communities can work in partnership with other institutions, specifically, school systems, to reduce violence.

Legislative and domestic violence cases.

Responders to Human Trafficking & Domestic Violence – A panel of experts will discuss how local and domestic violence.
