Our Three Winners
“So compete with one another in good deeds.” Quran 2:148 Ohio, led by the Clifton Mosque of Cincinnati was the top state with the most food collected, masha’Allah! May Allah (SWT) reward every person who worked to collect and all across our great country. Ameen.
A heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the Dental Supply Drive for the DYR Chapel Hill Project. DMS Outreach and Razan Abu Salha were energetic volunteers, dedicated to community service.
JazakumAllah Khair for your support!
The DMS Outreach Team led by Brother Najam Khan volunteered at the Food Bank in Dayton on December 30 where they sorted food items and efforts yesterday. May Allah (SWT) reward them all!
The Foodbank– the only one of its kind in the Miami Valley – nourishes the hunger relief efforts of the community through the acquisition and Preble counties. The Foodbank provides the infrastructure for more than 100 member programs that serve as the charitable hunger relief network in the area.
From our friends at Hannah’s Treasure Chest in a FB post Tuesday, December 15: “Boys usually wear through their clothes in certain sizes before they can be donated, so our stocks of those sizes are always low. Our friends at the Dayton Mercy Society Outreach Program went shopping for us and 5 bags of 10-pack socks. Thank you for helping us fill the shelves to keep kids warm!
Our DMS Outreach team led by Brother Najam Khan volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Saturday December 13, 2014. At this particular site they helped to install roof-sheeting. They climbed as high as 13 feet and encouraged to come back again insha’Allah.
